Newcastle (2008)

17-year old Jesse lives in the shadow of his older brother Victor's failure to become surfing's Next Big Thing. Even when he's in his natural habitat of magnificent surf breaks, his blue-collar future is brought home by the coal barges that constantly line his horizon. Henry Gamble's Birthday Party takes place over 24 hours at the birthday pool party of 17-year-old preacher's kid Henry Gamble. The party guests include adults and teenagers from his church, as well as Henry's "secular" friends, including the closeted young Logan, who has eyes for Henry.

In the small, closed community of a provincial town, Magda tries to maintain a balance within a family facing many serious problems. A mother who has a sexual relationship with her son-in-law, a family divided over land, and a son's rebellion and homosexual relationship with an older gentleman. The film explores the underbelly of a traditional Greek family after a tragic car accident where a daughter is killed.

Nightswimming (2009) (Short Film)

Runaways Luke and Ellen are caught breaking into an older, Victorian styled swimming facility one evening. As they only want a warm place to sleep, Martin, the person on patrol, lets them stay on the proviso that they don't break anything else. As Luke and Ellen go swimming in the pool, Luke spots Martin voyeuristically watching them. That small act begins an emotionally charged situation involving all three, but which was only supposed to involve Luke and Martin.

Walk On Water (2004)
