Muslim Drag Queens (2015) (Documentary)

"I'm gay, I'm Muslim, I'm a drag queen, I'm British and Pakistani," said Asif Quraishi, Britain's first out and proud Muslim drag queen who performs under the glamorous alter ego, Asifa Lahore. "People say these things shouldn't fit together but hey, here I am." Now Quaraishi and his fellow artistes have been promised police protection amid fears that a Channel 4 documentary shining a spotlight on the "hidden" community of gay British Asians could provoke a violent response. Quraishi, 33, from Southall, West London, performs a provocative act in which he strips off a Burka and has received death threats from fellow Muslims.

Atl is in a tug of war between what he's expected to be and what his heart tells him he is. He must choose between tradition and freedom.

Extraordinary Teens: My Gay Life (2017) (Documentary)

Shot over several years, the story of a young boy called Billy growing up gay in 21st century Britain, filmed from ages 11 to 17. Featuring video diaries, we see Billy growing up facing many changes and milestones. With tensions in the family, his mum's health scare, a divorce and an estranged father, we see how those major changes shape Billy as he grows up on camera and tells the story in his own voice. The result is an extraordinary longitudinal documentary about childhood, adolescence, sexuality and family.

Love In Country (2023)

Cal (2013)

Navigating his way across this new landscape he meets a young student who needs his help. However his act of kindness brings him into contact with a lawless drug dealing pimp and a race against time to make peace with his mother and get out of town as quickly as possible. An intense tale of a family mired in poverty, angry and lost but still searching for love, respect and acceptance.

Boystown (2007) Spanish (English Subtitle)

Victor works in a real estate agency in the well-known Chueca neighborhood of Madrid. He hides a terrible secret: he makes apartments available for sale by murdering the old ladies owners that live in them. Then, refurbishes and decorates the apartments to sell them to gay couples with high purchasing power. His ultimate objective is to transform Chueca into a kind of London Soho area.
